Maya Angelou dies aged 86

The inspirational, American poet, author and activist , Maya Angelou, has died at the age of 86.

Maya has left a legacy of work to inspire generations to come. Her early childhood struggles and those of a single parent inspired her words, forgiving spirit and unshakable faith.

Her legacy will go on to liberate our minds and heal our hearts.

It is often during periods of change or life’s struggles we can take comfort from Maya’s words:

‘I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.’
